Srinagar Police arrested two drug peddlers, contraband Seized
Srinagar: 8th Oct 2020:
Srinagar Police in its offensive drive against the drug peddlers, held two persons with Codeine Phosphate during a surprise naka established by PS Rajbagh at Honda lane Rajbagh.
The duo accused were moving in suspicious manner at Honda lane Rajbagh. During their search 11 bottles of OMEREX 100 ml each cough syrup which also contains codeine phosphate a banned drug were recovered
The accused were arrested immediately and has been identified as
1) Faisal Ahmad Dar
S/o Mohd Ashraf Dar
R/o Rambagh
2) Suhaib Ahmad Dar
S/o Ab Rashid Dar
R/o Mehjoornagar
In this regard case FIR No: 64/2020 u/s 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Rajbagh and investigation going on.
The Srinagar Police is committed to continue its offensive drive against the drug peddlers.
