School based examination for class 11 this year: JKBOSE

Exam to be conducted in the month December

Giving an clarification regarding examination of Class 11, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Thursday said that school based examination will be conducted for Class 11 in the month of December.

Board’s Joint Secretary Examination Kashmir, Aejaz Ahmad Haqaq said that the examination of Class 11 will be conducted soon after completion Class 10 and 12 examinations and this time examination will be conducted for class 11 students in their respective schools.

“The examination will be held in the respective institutions for the Class 11 students. The staff of the school will be involved in the examination process and the preparations are in place,” he said as per Kashmir Reformer.

When asked about the evaluation, he said that the evaluation part will be done by JKBOSE. “All the confidential material including the question papers will be provided by the board and the marking/evaluation and results will also be done by them,” he said. He added that there will be no centre fixation this year and datesheet will be issued 10 to 20 days before the exam.

Pertinently, last week, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education announced examinations for Class 10 and 12 which will start from the second week of November and will end in the month of December.
