Uri, Oct 04 :(GNS) Fifteen employees of NHPC-1 Uri on Saturday evening have tested positive for COVID-19 virus officials said.

A health official told GNS, sampling through rapid antigen test was conducted for employees at NHPC-Gingle and reports were received after which 15 have been tested positive for this deadly virus.

The official said that as a precautionary measure, sanitization has been started in and around the power project and other employees have been also asked to go for testing.

Official further said as per health protocol all employees have been asked to follow strictly, he added employees who tested positive have been advised to go for home quarantine and have all precautionary measures.(GNS)
