Srinagar had its 3rd-coldest November since 1997
The mean maximum temperature in November this year was 14.1 degrees Celsius, 3rd lowest since 1997, when it was 13.7 degrees Celsius, as per Kashmir Weather, an independent weather forecaster.
November 2020 was the third-coldest November since 1997 behind 2018 and 2019 when the mean maximum temperatures were 12.5°C & 10.6°C respectively.
Normally, Srinagar records a mean maximum temperature of 15.8 degrees Celsius in November. Also it was the third consecutive year of below average maximum temperatures.
The mean maximum temperatures through November 2020 were 1.7°C colder than the 1981-2010 average for November.
