BHSS Uri Celebrates Iqbal Day
Uri CNS, Nov 9: on 9th of November, 2020 “Iqbal Day” has been celebrated in Government Boys Higher secondary School (BHSS) Uri.
The Programme was attended by civil society members, students and staff of BHSS Uri.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the contributions of Dr Sir Mohammed Iqbal, particularly towards Muslim Ummah.
The programme was presided by the Principal Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather Principal Govt BHSS . Speaking on the occasion he said that the teachings of Iqbal are very much relevant in the contemporary era and the message given by Dr Iqbal through his dynamic poetry must be strictly followed by our youth in this modern age also.
Students also described the life of Dr Iqbal.
Among the staff members Mr Shafique Ahmad Lecturer Political Science, Mr Farooq Ahmad Mir Lec Economics, Mr Sarver Lecturer Chemistry, Mrs Masarat Jabeen Teacher and Mr Abid Shafi Teacher gave detailed description of Iqball’s Teachings and contributions.
The Principal promised that in future Iqbal day will be celebrated with full enthusiasm.
