Baramulla, Nov 07: A top army officer on Saturday said that Baramulla district is the only district in entire Kashmir where things are absolutely well, and people being peace loving.
As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 19 Infantry Division Virendra Vats speaking in a function at Sherwani hall termed Baramulla a peace loving district and praised people of this district for playing a vital role in making things better.
GOC on the occasion said that people of Baramulla had played an important role for making district in peace loving category.
Talking about the militancy, GOC said in Baramulla district security forces at larger extent succeed to put the number of militants down.
GOC was speaking in the felicitation ceremony for relatives in the memory of Shaheed Mohd Maqbool Sherwani.
