Bandipora, 04 April,:-After five new cases were reported today from Bandipora, In a bid to contain fast spread of deadly Noval Coronavirus disease the Chairperson District Disaster Management Authority(DDMA) Bandipora has issued an order banning movement of Public as well as individuals to and fro in five Villages of North Kashmir’s District Bandipora.

According to an order issued in this behalf copy of which lies with CNS vide no DCB/PS/2020/3259-72 dated 04-04-2020 reads ,”That no movement of any individual for any reason whatsoever shall be permitted into and out of villages Konan, Gund-Qaisar, Gund-Dachina of Tehsil Bandipora ,and villages Hakbara & Madwan of Tehsil Hajin of District Bandipora.However for any Medical Emergency ,individuals can contact 24/7 Control Room on 01957-225024/225323.”

DDMA has also warned People against violation of the order of punitive action on the part of administration under section 188 IPC ,& other relevant provisions of Epidemic Disease Act ,1897,and the Disaster Management Act 2005.

The order has been issued ex-parte as according to the authorities it is not possible to serve prior notice of this order.

Pertinently, the order has came after five more cases were detected today from the district. The total number of Positive cases have now reached 16.
