CORRIGENDUM to Advertisement No. 35 GMCA of 2020 Dated: 17.10.2020
This office Vide Advertisement Notice No. 35 GMCA of 2020, dated 17.10.2020 sought
online applications for the post of Anaesthesia Technicians under ECRP (Emergency
COVID Response Package) in ICUs and HDUs in COVID-19 management for GMC
Anantnag, wherein qualification/selection criteria for the post was shown.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA SELECTION CRITERIA
“10+2 with Diploma in Anaesthesia /Operation
Theatre Technology. However, Degree Holders in
Anaesthesia/Operation Theatre technology will be
preferred (as per Govt. Order No. 252-HME of 2012
dated 26.03.2012)”.
i) Written Test =60
ii) 10+2 =10 points
iii) Diploma in Anaesthesia/ Operation Theatre
Technology=20
iv) Degree in Anaesthesia/ Operation Theatre
Technology=10
However, National Health Mission, J&K has conveyed revised qualification/selection
criteria for such engagements Vide No.SHS /NHM /J&K/13625-52,dated 23.10.2020, and
kept 10+2 with Science or above qualification with degree in Anaesthesia/ Diploma in
Anaesthesia Assistant Course from any recognised institute/SMF as eligibility for the post.
Consequently, in supersession of earlier advertisement for these posts, revised
qualification and selection criteria for applying for the post of Anaesthesia Assistant
in GMC Anantnag as advertised Vide No. 35 of GMCA of 2020, Dated 17.10.2020 shall
be now as under.

Therefore, date of submission of online applications is extended upto 02.11.2020 for
interested candidates who want to apply for these posts. However, the candidates
who have already applied in pursuance to above mentioned Advertisement No. need
not to apply again and those applicants will also be considered, if they fulfill the above
revised qualification/selection criteria.
