Applications on prescribed format are invited
from the interested persons for establishment
of Sheep/Goat units on Partcipapatory Mode
in private sector as per the details given hereunder.
Establishment of Sheep/Goat unit on Partcipatory
Mode comprising of 10 Ewes/Does including
insurance premium for 1st year borne by the
Department.
SILENT FEATURES:
1.Under the scheme 10 Sheep/Goats shall be
provided to the beneficiary free of cost and from
3rd year of establishment the department shall
retrieve 2 Ewes/Does from each breeder for next
three years.
- Beneficiary must have sufficient land holding,
infrastructure, fodder/grazing and main power
available to maintain the unit on organized pattern. - Selection shall be done through draw of lots by
designated committee headed by District Sheep
Husbandry Officer Baramulla and one representative
from District Administration Baramulla. - The beneficiaries who have already been
beneifted under the said scheme are not eligible.
5.Only one person from the family can apply for the
said scheme.
HOW TO APPLY:
The prescribed forms can be collected from this
Office/Sheep Development Office Uri and Sheep
Development Block of this organization on any
working day during office hours.
The application form completed in all respect
shall be submitted to the concerned Sheep
Development Blocks within 7 days from the
publication of this advertisement in leading dailies.
