Srinagar, Jul 15 : The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men from 176 BN at Kunzer Tangmarg Monday rescued a 13-year-old girl when she drowned in Nallah Ferozpora near at Chanpora Kunzer.

A girl age about 13 years namely Nageena, daughter Mohd Sharief Din of Nagrota Jammu presently located in Bank of Nallaha Ferozpora at Chanpora Kunzer belonging to Shepherd family was washing clothes in bank of river Nallah Ferozpora when she slipped and drowned in the Nallah.

Crying for help, the family members shouted after seeing their beloved drowning in the Nallah.

However, risking their lives, two CRPF men CT/GD M G Naidu and CT/GD N Upendra jumped to rescue the girl, thus saving her life.

After being rescued by CRPF men, she was immediately referred to Sub District Hospital Tangmarg for treatment.

Talking to Kashmir News Service, the family members thanked the CRPF men for saving the life of their beloved. “We are highly thankful to CRPF men.” (KNS)
