Lolab Aug 21: protest demonstrations were held at serval Areas Of Lolab veally after prayers against the blasphemous remarks made by a self styled godman against The Prophet Of Islam.
Molana Shafi Sb Makhi in the region has asked people to hold peaceful demonstration on Friday after zuhar prayers against the blasphemous.
A peaceful protest was also held in Sogam, krusan, chandigam, daramwari, area of the Lolab, where protesters demanded death penalty for the culprits.
All shops and other business establishments remained closed in Krusan, Lalpora, Daramwari, Sogam, and adjoining markets.
Police had also filed a case under section 153A IPC (promoting enmity between different groups) and 295A IPC (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) at Pacca Danga police station
Police and paramilitary deployments were also placed at key locations to avoid any ‘law and order’ issue in Lolab Area.
Molana Shafi sb Makhi urged the authorities to take an immediate action against the the person.
