Srinagar, June 02, KNT: A 4-year-old boy drowned to death into a Nallah due to Flash floods, triggered by heavy rains in Dangam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.

Reports said that the deceased identified as Hazim Rafiq Malik (4) son of Rafiq Ahmad Malik of Dangam slipped into the Tongri Nallah.

Soon after the incident, locals and police rushed to the spot and immediately launched rescue operation, local sources said.

After massive efforts, the locals and police retrieved the body of the deceased from the nallah, they told KNT.

A police officer also confirmed the death of the minor boy due to drowning into the Nallah. (KNT)
