Family stages Protest, Admin Assures Action.

Anantnag, May 03(The First Click): An expected mother allegedly died due to negligence of doctors at sub district hospital Seer-Hamdan in southern Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reports reaching The First Click said that the Family members and relatives of the lady staged a protest while accusing doctors of negligence which according to them led to the death of pregnant lady.

Deceased lady has been identified by family members as Shakeela Akhter wife of Zahoor Ahmad Bhat resident of Seer-Salia village of Anantnag district.
Protesters demand strict action against those who mishandled the treatment or led to the death of this lady.

Meanwhile a team of government officials including assistant commissioner of revenue (ACR), DySp concerned rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.

It’s pertinent to mention here that pregnent ladies have been victim of what they call ill treatment and negligence from the hospital staff in many areas of Kashmir amid this covid19 pandemic.

Assistant commissioner revenue Anantnag, Syed Yasir assured that an enquiry will be initiated in this regard and if anyone was involved in negligence, action will be taken against him.

“We are verifying the details from CMO and I assure that action will be taken after enquiry,” he said. (The First Click)
